I don’t know what to do after college. A teacher recommended me to a recruiter. She called me and offered to come to the training center for training. I was already in my senior year of high school at the time and my workload was heavy, so I refused. Already in my fourth course I had more free time to attend interviews on my own. I decided to give it a try in the testing field as it best suited my knowledge and major in college. I read that right! How is the course? I call the training at the training center an internship because we gain the necessary experience to work on production projects.
Everyone has their own workplace in the office. We were allowed to solve almost the same problems that B2B Fax Lead the team solved in real projects. We used the company's internal training system. We had access to a senior peer mentor at any time and asked him for advice. The training lasted two months. We have teachers who teach us, give us homework and answer questions. The training consists of several modules: operating system management fundamentals, testing two small modules on business correspondence, agile methodologies and work. Each week we receive a schedule of assignments and lectures. Of course we listened to some of the lectures online but there were also offline meetings. All classes are held during the first half day. I consider learning to be my real job and not just an elective.
All tasks have deadlines so it’s important to me to get everything done on time. These tasks may be related to operating system administration or writing tests and finding bugs in applications. After the training I was interviewed by experts who evaluated the way I learned the material. I got a certificate for successfully passing the training and then I got a job offer from the company. How did you combine college and studying? I wouldn't say it was easy. I studied in the morning and then went to college in a few days. I'm used to planning my schedule ahead of time.
